Breakfast with Santa

Santa stopped by to join us for breakfast, along with some of Nolan's friends!  It was so much fun!  We decorated gingerbread cookies and wrote letters for Santa!   

Some were super excited to see Santa...

and others not so much!

We had such a great time with Santa!  Hopefully, he will be bringing binoculars soon!

Polar Express

The Polar Express was one of our favorite activities last Christmas, so when we got the chance to go with our friends Bailey and Max we were even more excited!  Unfortuately, we were a little late getting to the train and missed the first one, but they got us on a second train.  We got to meet the Doyal's for dinner.  Nolan had such a great time!  He was very excited to see Santa and tell him he wanted binoculars for Christmas! 

He was still a little nervous when Santa finally got to us, but was able to get out the word "binoculars"!  Hopefully Santa heard him!

Dinner with the Doyal's was lots of fun!  Even though it may not look like it in the picture!

Elfonso is here!

We are very excited to celebrate Christmas this year!  Nolan is at such a fun age and we love every minute with him!  This morning Elfonso came to our house for the first time!  When we woke up this morning we found a trail of snow leading to our kitchen table.  Elfonso had arrived and tracked snow all through the house.  He brought some treats for Nolan and some delicious snow covered donuts!  Aunt Laura joined us for breakfast.  Earlier this week, she sent Nolan some super cute Elf on the Shelf PJ's with his name on them, which he loved!  Nolan requested pancakes and sausage for breakfast with Elfonso, so we had sausage and red velvet pancakes with chocolate chips, strawberries, and whipped cream.  Elfonso even turned our milk green!  We also watched the movie and will be reading the book tonight. Nolan was a little skeptical at first, but then loved it!  Who doesn't love snow covered donuts?!?  It was lots of fun and we are looking forward to finding Elfonso each morning!



Pumpkin Carving Party

We had some friends over to carve pumpkins this year!  Some took this very seriously!

Hot, Hot, Halloween

This year Nolan decided he wanted to be a fireman for Halloween.  This was after he wanted to be a pirate and then a kitty cat.  We settled on the fireman and it was a perfect fit!  He was super cute in his costume. 

We did lots of trick or treating at school and at daddy's office.

So much fun!



Sweet Callen

We had some house guests last weekend and had the best time getting to hang out with sweet Callen.  Nolan loved playing with him and was so sad to see him go.  They loved wresting on the couch together!

 

Movies at Home

I had promised Nolan we could go to the movies, but again he had a fever so we made our own movie theater at home.  He had a great time, but the popcorn was pretty pricey!
