Nolan's Class Holiday Party
We had Nolan's class holiday party today! It was lots of fun and the kids are super cute! Nolan loves school and seeing all his friends! I really enjoy planning their holiday parties, but this one might have been my favorite. I found some red children's aprons on sale at hobby lobby and thought they would be perfect for his party. I have been working on my sewing skills and thought they turned out pretty cute! Not all the lines are super straight, but still pretty cute!
The aprons then inspired a cookie decorating theme. They each had a cookie, icing, and sprinkles to decorate.
We then sectioned off an area of the room and played in the packing peanuts snow! The kids loved it!
Very messy, but very fun!

So Excited.....
Nolan just got the sweetest gift in the mail from one of our favorite friends! I love this and am thinking friday night will be movie night! I also love the reindeer food! I can't wait to sprinkle it outside for Santa's Reindeer!
Thanks Susie!!! We love it!!! Thanks for thinking of us!!!
Winter Wonderland
Tuesday was the Winter Wonderland at Nolan's school. I had volunteered to help out with the toddler area, thinking it couldn't be that hard... I spent two hours sweeping up packing peanuts and putting them back in a swimming pool while small children threw them out -- over and over again!
Nolan had a great time and even got his face painted!

Ho Ho Ho on a Choo Choo
We had such a great time on the Polar Express! We were a little nervous when we left-- Nolan was not in the best mood ever when he woke up from his nap. We met Aunt Laura for the trip. (Daddy and Aunt Laura were slightly less excited about the matching shirts we all had, but they were very cute!) Nolan was excited to see the train, but a little nervous when the horn blew. We boarded the train and listened to a reading of the Polar Express while sipping hot chocolate and munching on cookies. Once we got to the North Pole, Santa boarded the train and passed out bells to all the kids. Nolan is still a little apprehensive of the man in the red suit, but loved the bell. On the way back we sang Christmas songs and danced. It was a really fun trip! We will definitely have to do it again next year!

Breakfast with Santa
This morning we had breakfast with some of our favorite friends and their mommies! Even Santa dropped by for some pictures! We had so much fun! Not everyone was super excited to see Santa, but he was a good sport about it!
I made these bags for everyone to take home and decorate Christmas cookies.
Snowman donuts!
Reindeer Oreos!
We had fruit, french toast casserole, cinnamon rolls, muffins, bacon, pancakes, and mimosas for the mommies!
So glad he was here to show those little ones how it is done!
Not so sure about this guy!
Picture Perfect!
So Sweet!

O' Christmas Tree
Continuing with our 25 days of Christmas we went to get our Christmas tree and Nolan's ornament for this year. We picked out a guitar ornament in tribute to his year of rock band. It plays Run, Rudolph, Run via a "beep beep" (button), so he loved it!
He has a little tree in his room to hang all of his ornaments. At night we turn on Christmas music and the lights on his tree before he goes to bed. I love how christmasy it makes his room feel!
Jonathan and I love getting our Christmas tree each year, but this year was even more fun with our helper! How cute is his little Christmas Tree Truck shirt made by our sweet friend Holly?!?

Day 3
So far our 25 days of Christmas has been slightly derailed by a bloody nose, a cranky little boy, and working late. We were supposed to get our tree tonight, but that will have to wait for tomorrow. Instead we went with making Christmas cookies and it turned out to be a lot of fun!
How cute is his little apron!!! It was a sweet gift last Christmas from a sweet friend! Just so you know I have a matching one!
