Playdough Fun

The weather is going to be pretty yucky this weekend, so we are looking for lots of fun 4th of July indoor activities.  I did make Nolan some playdough tonight for the first time to keep him busy while I was cooking dinner.  He had a great time and made less of a mess than I anticipated. Always a plus!!!

Susan G. Komen 3-Day

I have decided to do the Susan G. Komen 3-Day walk with one of my friends. We are really excited and nervous about it at the same time! We have to walk 60 miles over 3 days and raise $2300 each. Nolan and Daddy Weekend

I was out of town this weekend on a work trip so Nolan got a lot of Daddy time. They started off the weekend with Nolan's first trip to see the Rangers. Jonathan said he loved it! I did get a phone call on the way there asking what size diaper Nolan wears.... Daddy seemed to have forgotten a diaper bag and was in need of a diaper quick! I think they had a good time and apparently played a lot of Rock Band!

Blueberries for Nolan

We had a terrific weekend in Shreveport.  It was kind of a last minute trip.  My friend Mindy and her son Mason had come to visit about a month ago and we were talking about going blueberry picking near her house.  Jonathan has been working a lot so we thought a quick get away would be perfect! 

We went down on Saturday, had dinner, and walked around the boardwalk.  Nolan had a great time running around and watching the fountain.  Sunday we went to breakfast and then went to Mindy's house.  Her house is a little boy's dream!  Playhouses, sandbox, tractors, trucks, and toys!  She cooked us and her family an amazing lunch with all sorts of produce from her family garden.  It was delicious!  We all loaded up and went to pick blueberries!

The place we picked the berries was beautiful!  Although, it was at 2:30, in June, in Louisiana.  It was HOT!!!

Nolan had such a great time!  We are going to have to come again next year!  Thanks to the Browns!!!

No More Party in the Back!

Nolan had been rocking the Mullet for a couple of months.  His hair was cute in the front, he had a few scraggly hairs over his ears, and was a hot mess in the back!  Hair was mostly growing in a patch off to the left side.  We decided it was time to finally get his first hair cut!  Karla cuts both or our hair and offered to cut Nolan's.  We came with the camera to document this event as I find it a little weird to save his hair.

While he does look super unhappy in the pictures, he did great!  We headed to breakfast afterwards with our sharp dressed man!
